The Quantum Mechanics of Time Travel
Dr. Seth Lloyd, an MIT professor and self-described “quantum mechanic,” describes the quantum mechanics behind time travel during a guest lecture at the Institute for Quantum Computing, University of Waterloo (www.iqc.ca). Recorded on Nov. 4, 2010, this is entire lecture entitled “Sending a Photon Backwards in Time.” Dr. Lloyd also sat down for a one-on-one interview at IQC, during which he discusses the weirdness (and beautiful simplicity) of quantum mechanics, and the incredible importance of quantum information research. Time and space are intertwined into one concept, called space-time. They are inseparable. You can’t go back in time. That would involve negative time, which is impossible. You can’t have negative length, negative width, or negative height. You can’t have negative time. If I were to walk 10 meters in one direction, then walk back to the original spot, I’ve covered 20 meters, not zero. It took me twice the time to go round trip than it did to go one way. Time cannot go backwards.

Time travel to the future is possible, but you can’t return. The only way to travel into the future is to have a ship that can travel near the speed of light. Hundreds of years can pass on Earth, when only a few days have passed on the ship. That is because time slows down the closer to the speed of light you get. You can’t pass the speed of light because at the speed of light, time stops for the traveler.

to know first, that mankind live each day by the seconds of time. Each second is the present, no one is five seconds before themselves or five seconds past themselves. The right now time, is the seconds toward the future. The importance of living in the seconds of time is the choices that are made in the present that will effect the future or not effect. but no one goes through life without making a choice. Some thoughts are either about yesterday or tomorrow , Seconds choices are made.

I guess everyone’s hear the latest breakthrough as of a few days ago saying time travel may be possible at least at a subatomic level.
I wonder if something I’ve stumbled across could open new doors in scientific research. If you follow my link to see my first upload “Witness a Miracle” you’ll see what I’m talking about. The first few moments after it comes into focus are key to watch, and it easier to see full screen. I swear this footage is genuine. p.s I’m not selling anything.

According to Deutsch and many universes theory, if you invest in Swiss Francs in another universe, and bring back the profits to your universe, you are bringing in more matter which is not originally from this universe thus destabilizing it. And as an accounting student, i can say this will also offset the economy as it then introduces more of one currency then originally printed, and then inflation takes place, Swiss Franc loses strength and hell breaks loose.

You are not bringing more energy into the universe. Because it requires the same amount of energy to perform the time travel. All you need is a quantum mirror and a fast spaceship. The quantum mirror reverses your spin and turns you into antimatter. The spaceship allows you to travel rapidly backwards at relativistic speeds. Bring the quantum mirror with you and reverse your spin again. Now you are with the dinosaurs! Fly fast again at relativistic speed again and you’re back home Dorthy!

It seems to me that time travel to the past will always be impossible unless a machine could take existing atoms with all the information of the time traveler from other sources and recreate an exact clone of the time traveler because there is a finite amount of matter in the universe.
